The main task of the Sourcing Developer is to lead sourcing activities mainly linked to the product development process and take responsibility for sourcing products in a specific range within the category framework.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Being a bridge between Business Area/Home Furnishing Business and Category by:
„_ Securing that all articles are sourced within the category framework.
„_ Describing and communicating range needs and range priorities.
„_ Describing and communicating category strategies to the Home Furnishing Business.
„_ Securing sustainability as an integral part of our business.
„_ Communicating and taking actions on deviations.
„_ Actively monitoring markets, competitors and suppliers.
„_ Securing that each product has a correct landed price to Retail.
SOURCING PRODUCTS BY
„_ Actively leading sourcing activities in the product development process securing the development on the factory floor.
„_ Constantly improving running range business.
„_ Evaluating material and technique choices related to cost, capacity, quality and sustainability.
„_ Establishments of product development agreements and tool agreements.
„_ Contract reviewing with Trading.
„_ Assessing sourcing risks on an article level and securing sourcing set-ups accordingly.
„_ Analysing forecasts in relation to capacities on article level.
„_ Managing matrix changes, phase-in and phase-out.
„_ Closely co-operating with Trading and evaluating supplier performance.
COMPETENCE
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
„_ 3-5 years of experience in related field of work with proven track record.
„_ Experience of negotiations and skills in problem solving working methods.
„_ Good knowledge of the product development process.
„_ Knowledge of the global market.
„_ Knowledge of supply chain.
„_ University degree in technology, business administration or corresponding knowledge.
„_ Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. |
